Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to providing aid and support to non-profits. This Giving Tuesday, Prism is asking for your support to help provide access to free or low-cost mental health care for *2SLGBTQIA+ community members across New York State. Every dollar helps connect someone with a therapist, a case manager, a peer, or a group that can help them live a more authentic and safe life.
A donation to Prism is a donation to the wellness of a community that needs it the most. Prism is an agency run for the *2SLGBTQIA+ community, by a staff of queer and trans providers. Our values of liberation, empowerment, and support help our clients live a life they've always wanted.
We deserve a space to feel free. To nurture our community, our culture, our language, our rhythm, and our souls.
Prism Counseling & Advocacy is dedicated to being pro-queer, pro-black, trauma-informed, neurodivergence-affirming, fat liberation focused and anti-body oppression/terrorism, sex & kink-affirming, anti-ableist, decolonizing, and anti-capitalist. At Prism, there will always be a focus on social justice and providing therapy that is empowering and de-stigmatizing for all clients.
