Summer is a magical time of the year. The very word brings to mind an infectiously whimsical and carefree feeling.
At Sunrise's Camp Harkness program, that is the very feeling our camp counselors aim to evoke for our campers each season. For several decades, Sunrise's summer camp program for adults with disabilities has provided an enriching and engaging camp experience while providing respite for families throughout Connecticut. Last year, we began expanding on our programming, introducing group outings to visit the surrounding attractions as well as new camp activities.
However, such services are only made possible thanks to community support and our generous funders. This Giving Tuesday, you can help make a difference in the lives of our campers by supporting Sunrise's Summer Stories at Camp Harkness Fund!
