Our Work
Corcoran neighbors have been fundraising to support other neighbors facing extreme hardship resulting from the occupation of Minneapolis by federal immigration forces. This is one small part of a large, decentralized effort to support our communities across the Twin Cities.
How we will use the funds
The funds will be distributed to affected households in the Corcoran neighborhood to provide urgent support of basic necessities, including but not limited to, assistance with rent and mortgage payments, help paying utility bills, grocery support, legal support, and other identified needs.
Hyperlocal Support
Our group has ongoing relationships with affected individuals and families, all live in the Corcoran neighborhood, and are deeply committed to providing direct and ongoing support to our neighbors.
