Feed Animals Not Landfills

Pumpkins For Pigs Foundation was founded in 2017 after a conversation with a local farmer -- what do I do with my pumpkins sitting on my step?  It doesn't feel right to throw them out.  With just 10 donation sites in Loudoun County, Virginia, it somehow worked. Fast forward to today, and we've expanded our reach to over 650 donation sites spread across 45 states in the U.S. and Canada. We diverted 800+ tons (1.6 million pounds) of pumpkins and other foodstuffs. This equates to preventing the carbon dioxide emissions from 72 passenger vehicles running for an entire year.

Your contribution will empower the Pumpkins For Pigs Foundation to continue our essential food waste education and outreach campaigns and build for the future. These efforts are crucial in mobilizing food donations to our network of farms, animal sanctuaries, and rescues, which we affectionately call our Donation Sites. Together, we can ensure that more surplus food finds its way to hungry, happy animals instead of contributing to landfill waste.
